Morning Bike Ride

Every morning when the weather is good, I love to ride my bike through my neighborhood. Now my neighborhood is not fraught with traffic and noise. On the contrary, it is quiet and peaceful. The only sounds I hear are the meadowlarks and other sweet bird songs and the occasional train. Here are some sights I see along the way:
Yep--real quiet here!

We live right on the edge of the Flint Hills, so you can see rolling terrain for miles.

I'd say this guy's lilacs deserve 4 pictures on my blog. Don't you agree?

The Equestrian Park in our neighborhood

Cows are curious creatures. Sometimes I sing to them and they come over to the fence. They especially like "The cattle are lowing the baby awakes" from Away in a Manger!

Our crab apples burst into bloom on Easter Day

That's it. A twelve mile ride up and down lots of hills, so a good work out but so peaceful!
