Ingredients for cake:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup sour cream
1 cup grated almond paste to be used as filling
Ingredients for topping:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Cream butter and sugar, adding eggs, dry ingredients, and sour cream.
Pour 1/2 of batter in 9x13 pan.
Top with 1/2 of topping mixture and the cup of grated almond paste.
Add remaining batter and top with remaining topping mixture.
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
